CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture”.  It’s a great way for you to get fresh vegetables each week all summer long.  We recently hired Haley Diener and Jacob Zuklic to manage our small CSA devoted to the Caring Cupboard customers, our neighbors, and friends.   We are excited to have their energy and enthusiasm, and they are just as passionate as we are about serving quality whole food to our community.

Your Commitment to Us

  1. Every week, you are responsible for picking up your box of fresh vegetables at the farmstand.

  2. Mother Nature can ruin even the best plans (like snow in March or a drought in July).  You agree to be patient and stay committed to us. Some weeks you make have more, less, or a different variety of vegetables than you received the week before.

Our Commitment to You

  1. We are committed to grow and deliver a variety of fresh, wholesome, local vegetables to you each week.

  2. If we have extra produce, we will share with you.  If we have a setback, we may need to remove it from our offerings.

  3. We will provide you with recipes as well as information about our vegetables and our growing process during the season.

How does this CSA work?

  • How much does it cost?

    • Your box will cost $400 at the start of the season. You pay in advance for one box each week (at the value of $20 per box) for twenty weeks. If paying $400 at the start of the season is a financial stress for you or your family, we will work together as a team to find a solution that fits your needs.

  • Why am I paying in advance?

    • By paying for your CSA membership in advance, you commit to sharing the risks and the rewards of growing fresh vegetables with us. You help the farmers produce the fresh, delicious food that you enjoy each week.

  • How can I pay for my box?

    • Cash
    • Debit Card
    • Credit Card
    • Personal Check

  • How long does the program last?

    • Twenty weeks starting in late May and ending in mid-October

  • What do I need to do to join?

    • Each household will sign a member agreement to join the CSA.

When and where do I pick up my box of vegetables each week?
